What's New at Desert Oasis Software Company LLC

Our latest project is ALIS, the Agri-Labs Information Systems. We are quite pleased to announce the availability of two Internet Interfaces that allow remote access to ALIS' data, one for use by your clients, and the other for off-site laboratory personnel. ALIS, now at release 2.5e, is what is known as a LIMS, a Laboratory Information Management System. This program tracks and organizes information about soil samples, plant tissue samples, air samples, water samples, compost, fertilizer and manure samples from the front door through all tests, all calculations, and any requested reports through to the invoicing. Reports are sent to the clients by fax, by e-mail in PDF format, or by printed copies. Fertilizer recommendations can be made on soil and plant tissue samples, taking into account current crop and previous, soil characteristics, test results, previous manure applications and irrigation practices, as well as creating recommendations based on future crop rotation plans.
